1. You’re overusing “starts to” and “begins” in your action lines.
2. Women aren’t primed to cry at the drop of a hat.
3. Don’t forget to end your scenes.
4. “Seriously?”
5. It’s not just your story or your dialogue, your writing is your voice.
6. Don’t fear a good intro.
7. Introduce characters conservatively.
8. For god’s sake, use Courier.
9. Page count is everything.
10. “Fade in” is not as professional as you think it is.
