Up: Ideas for non-fiction writing
Core idea: Model target state, not action. This is what ddenv does.
Three implementations:
- released (a gem release tool)
- ddenv (the main one)
- insurance underwriting process
Other thoughts:
- Ansible is similar?
- Use cases: deploying my services and setting up Tailscale services
- Maybe also a check command, which returns 0 or 1 depending on whether
Open questions:
- How would parallelization work?
- How to clean up after the removal of a goal? (Probably a non-issue)
