Up: Acting
Similar to/overlapping with Given circumstances.
The stage/screen is merely a slice of the much larger “real” world in which the characters live.
Space:
- What are the locations? (e.g. rooms, mountains)
- Where are they in relationship to the stage, and to each other?
- How far away are they?
- What are there other locations like? (loud, cold, …)
Time:
- What happened in the past? (Moment before)
- What do I anticipate happening soon?
People:
- Where are the people who are not seen?
- Who are the people that influence me?
- How do I feel about these people?
Objects:
- Where are the objects that are not seen? (e.g. necklace in a drawer in the bedroom.)
- How do I feel about these objects?
Society:
- What religious/spiritual beliefs exist?
- What are the laws?
- What are the customs?
- What are the mores?
- What is the political climate?
