Weeknotes 2021 W43

October 25–31, 2021
  • This week left me exhausted. On Friday afternoon, I stopped being able to do any meaningful work, staring at my screen and having trouble keeping my eyes open.

  • After analysing and following up on last week’s feedback (Weeknotes 2021 W42), I realised most of the feedback boils down to me having a rather direct communication style (especially in writing). See also: Phrase suggestions as open questions.

  • I rewatched The World's End (by Edgar Wright). Still a good movie! Though I might have been too exhausted to enjoy it properly.

  • Even though one of the reasons for getting a bike (a Brompton, which I love) was going to the street markets around Berlin, I’ve not really done so very consistently. The street markets in Berlin seem to be rather small, and the only big one had fruits and veggies of highly questionable quality (some of it was moldy on the vendors’ booths already). I find the grocery stores to be still far more convenient and providing better quality.
